This is work for nga tangata learning term three week one. This story is about two girls on the other side of the world from each other. Meggie is a protester and Zodwa is a girl in south Africa watching TV. The springbok tour was an rugby team for south Africa. What happened was that the south Africans would not let black people play.But then the NZ team did a tour in secret but when they the NZ citazins found out they had a giant protest at the game. There were planes flying low at the protest and everything was chaos.

What Meggie and Zodwa common was that they both knew about the springbok tour and was that they both wanted to stop the springbok tour.What was parallel was that they both did not want to let the springbok win. Meggie was a kid who opposed the springbok tour unlike Zodwa who was not into rugby but she wanted the springbok team to be beaten. Meggie was going to protest against the game.  But Zodwa was impressed by Meggie when she was pulled away by the cops,even though she was on the other side of the world.

Method 

1 Get safety glasses and make a blind

2 set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with know where to record your responses

3 Using an ice cream stick you will dip it into the sample. Once the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response

4 There will be 2 Answers

5 At the taste test you need to hold you nose.

 Answer 1 is it sweet sour salty bitter record it

Answer 2 what do you think it is. Record it.

6 Repeat this for the for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice cream stick taster for samples 1-4

why is it important to be cyber smart

 Why is it important to be cyber smart  you may ask? Well you don't want to have any virus because they can impact your chrome book.You may also want to stay of shady sites and log out of sites when your finished with them.

Why is being cyber smart important to our kura and our learning. The reason is that we get better teaching online. 

Music class 2021

 This is my blog about music class 2021 with miss Bancroft who is the best teacher I have had this year.My Favorited bit about this class was able to listen to music.I also liked able to tell jokes and have fun because the other teachers are really boring and are not that fun.I learnt lots about rock music and I am know able to name about 25 song just by the intro and the beat.

I want to live on a dairy farm

 I want to live on a dairy farm.My reason are that they get payed a lot of money. The farm operate gets about 66K to 160K. Another reason I will be far from school and with bad reception so I cant do face time.More reason is that living on a dairy farm I wont be stuck inside because we would have tons of land to run around on.

My evidence is that when you have a farm you have to keep it maintained otherwise the herd will  die. It gives you a chance to get outside and get some fresh air. More evidence is that you would get fresh meat because of all the leftover meat from the butcher house. More evidence is that you get smart by living on a farm because you have to weigh the cows so the trucks know how much weight.

More reasons is that there is about 15 million dairy farms in the world. So you can image that there is tons of farmers in this world.Even more evinced is that in 2020 there was about total dairy cow numbers for 2020 at 1,570,180, breaking the 1.5 million barrier. My opinion is still the same as before of me wanting to be a dairy farmer. Have I convinced you to be a dairy farmer?

DO NOW TASK

I think Carr stamps dose not engorge to behave positive. My reasons are that the bad kids get more than the normal kids because when they act good they get stamps unlike the others who are always good.Another reason is that with the Carr cards is that they take so long to get a full Carr card because you have to fill in ten spaces.  My evidence is at school I hear the teacher saying to the bad kid I would give you stamps to be good then they would play up to get more of them. I think stamps are still a bad thing.

Year 7-8 student should be able to phones at school

 I think us year 7-8 should be able to have phones at school.My reason are that if a mad shooter took hostage of the school us kids could just call the cops or if a teacher has not had her cup of coffee.My evidence is that kids are faster to react than adults so they would just pull out there phones and dial 111.I still think that we should have our phones.
